This coming week will be the first of seven weeks leading up to Deathly Hallows Pt. 1’s release in theaters. While some of us did have tumblrs when HBP came out, many of us did not, and so this is the first time we have anticipated a new HP film together as the enormous monolith of crazed fans we are. This, of course, deserves recognition.

So I have a proposal, guys. Every week until DH1 comes out, we will read one Harry Potter book. This week will be Sorcerer’s Stone week, the next will be Chamber of Secrets week, and so on and so forth. The week will start on Monday and end on Sunday, obviously.

There will be an inaugoratory TinyChat tomorrow.

Throughout this event, I’ll make posts related to the book of the week. From followers’ thoughts to reactions to anything that comes to mind.

On each Sunday, there will be a TinyChat held in order to discuss the book and anticipate the next. There will also be spontaneous TinyChats throughout the week, as well as two big TinyChat parties on the last Wednesday and Thursday of the event in order to fangirl and fanboy over the amazing film that releases on, of course, Friday.

The last Sunday will be the biggest, discussing the DH book and movie, and general fandom festivities.

This is a really exciting idea for me, and we could make it big!
