The world is at my fingertips!

I thoroughly enjoy reading blogs that give me more information in life. Cooking blogs, crafting blogs, personal finance blogs, etc.  I read comments occasionally on posts that especially interest me and often see the abbreviation “DH.” Contextually i realized that it was referring to the persons husband, and today trying to figure it out i came up with ‘dumb husband.’  I figured i’d google it, because I am the google queen, and it turns out it means ‘darling husband.’ After the awesome realization, it got me thinking, what exactly does this say about me.  I’m a nice person, who is madly in love with Andrew, but the first thing i thought of was dumb husband.  Man I really need try and re-train myself with some reinforcement or something because my mind is effed up.

the worst of this week is over… but i still have 2 quizes, to begin studying for the physio quiz, and a shit ton of spanish busy work to get done.  =)  such is life.

on a lighter note, i’m starting to conceptually think of menu items for the hypothetical restaurant my awesome (pom pom) friends and I want to open =D

Today’s coolest shit of the day is Alton Brown.  Its no mystery that I am a fan of cooking, but I am freaking obsessed with Mr. Good Eats.  I love him.  Now finding out that he started in the cinematography industry, not as a chef, is the coolest shit in town.  Read this bio from his site, and also wikepedia.  Its pretty freaking cool.

funny how things get started off casual conversation and jokes. eventually you stretch a joke enough and it becomes a possibility. i get an IM from aj - something along the lines of ‘what if we did a music video to the b52s.’ we start making calls, sending out emails and this happened. turns out, five days after the shoot, fred schneider would be doing an appearance at a local record store. we couldn’t finish the edit in time to show him and i had to fly back home, but whatever — enjoy it yall haha
